- Check out Chase Research's IOXTA I/O card that uses the 16650. You
- can find them at www.chaser.com. You can purchase the card from
- www.sparco.com.

- From what I can remember, the 16650 has a 32 byte buffer versus the 16
- byte buffer in the 16550. The 32 byte buffer allows DTE's upto 430K.
- However, as the Sportster will unlikely ever go above 115K DTE (even
- with 33.6 speeds due to never reaching 4:1 compression with V.42bis),
- I don't think you'll need that card. BTW, I also don't think that the
- Sportster's support DTE's >115K (could be wrong though).
